McDowell and Steinberg will present a project on Russian citizens’ attitudes toward sanctions, and they’ll discuss in the presentation the difficulty of fielding surveys in autocratic countries. Both of them have expertise on international monetary systems and financial flows, particularly in the context of autocracies and the global South.
