Abigail Dym

Ph.D. Student in American Politics

Abigail Dym is a joint-Ph.D. student in political science and education policy at the University of Pennsylvania. She studies civic education and political engagement, political knowledge and socialization, the governance and politics of education, particularly at the state and local level, and education finance.  Prior to graduate school, Abigail was an AmeriCorps volunteer and social studies teacher. She holds an MPA in government administration and an M.S.Ed. in education policy from Penn and a B.A. in International Relations and Political Science from Mount Holyoke College.
