Liz Stark is a doctoral student in the subfields of American and Comparative Politics. Her research interests lie at the intersection of political behavior and institutions, with a focus on election administration, voting behavior, political representation and identity. She is particularly focused on the political and social dynamics that shape voters’ confidence in elections and democratic institutions. Prior to attending the University of Pennsylvania, Liz worked at CNN, where she covered politics, elections, federal agencies and investigations. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Gender Studies from the University of Chicago in 2017.
