Bess Davis

Associate Director of Undergraduate Studies

Bess Davis comes to the University of Pennsylvania from the Maxwell School at Syracuse University, where she is completing her PhD in political science. A teacher and scholar of comparative politics, Bess's research focuses on refugee and migration policy in the Middle East and North Africa. Bess is an award-winning instructor and experienced mentor of graduate and undergraduate students. Prior to graduate school, Bess coordinated the Center for the Study of Diversity and the Center for Global and Area Studies at the University of Delaware.
