In the shadow of the ongoing crisis in Ukraine and the continuing near confrontation over conflict in Syria,Russian-American relations are at their most fragile state since the end of the Cold War. Drawing on theexpertise of historians, political scientists, legal scholars and cultural historians, this half-day symposium willplace current geopolitical tensions into multi-disciplinary and historical perspective.
